The delegation arrives in Linlithgow

The West Lothian Grapevine Twinning Association was established on 7th February 2008.

Its aim is to foster friendship, hospitality and understanding between the inhabitants of West Lothian in Scotland and the City of Grapevine in Texas, USA.

Through communication and exchange visits it aims to bring about a sharing between the two communities of knowledge and experience in the areas of history, heritage, culture, the arts, sport, commerce, education, science and technology. <More>

First AGM - Tuesday 27 May at 7:30pm

The first Annual General Meeting of the West Lothian Grapevine Twinning Association took place on Tuesday 27th May at 7.30pm at West Lothian College, Livingston.  <Report>

April 2008 Visit from Grapevine

A party of seven delegates from Grapevine, including Mayor William Tate, visited West Lothian from 4th to 8th April and we are sure that they have taken lasting memories back to Texas with them.

Marching Youth Band and Delegation to Visit in June

In June the Colleyville Heritage High School Panther Marching Band of 40 young people from Grapevine will visit West Lothian along with a community delegation of around 25 people.  The band, which will stay at Oatridge College, will take part in Linlithgow Marches, Armadale Gala Day and other events. <More>

A party from West Lothian visited Grapevine in September 2007 and were given exceptional treatment by the people of Grapevine.

Constitution, Officers and Committee

The West Lothian/Grapevine Twinning Association has now been established and its Constitution agreed.  Officers and committee members were appointed, to serve until the first AGM, which will be held in May, 2008.  <More>
